Questions sellers ask
Is the Amazon report checker free?
Yes. The checker on this page and FileKey itself are free right now, with no limits on clients or uploads.
Does my Amazon file get uploaded when I check it?
No. The check runs in your browser. The file only reaches FileKey if you import it in the app.
Which Amazon reports can FileKey import?
Amazon MTR B2C Report and Amazon MTR B2B Report.
What does FileKey make from Amazon reports?
GSTR-1 for the period: the B2C and B2B tables, the HSN summary and documents issued, ready to download as GST portal JSON or Tally XML.
Is FileKey affiliated with Amazon?
No. FileKey is an independent tool for sellers and CAs. Amazon is a trademark of its owner.
Before you import
The upload form asks for the e-commerce operator GSTIN (FileKey pre-fills it; it must be a valid e-commerce GSTIN with 'C' as the 14th character).
Any row that has a Ship To State but a blank Tax Exclusive Gross stops the whole upload with 'Taxable value column missing.' (checked on every such row, whatever its GSTIN).
Rows with a blank Ship To State are skipped; rows whose Transaction Type is exactly 'Cancel' are skipped.
Only rows whose Seller GSTIN matches the client's GSTIN (trimmed, case-insensitive) are imported; if none match the upload stops with 'No sales Record Found' ('Seller GSTIN Mismatch' if the only matching rows were 'Cancel' rows).
A blank Tax Exclusive Gross cell on ANY row stops the upload with 'Taxable value column missing.'
Only Transaction Type 'Shipment' or 'EInvoiceCancel' with gross >= 0 becomes a B2B invoice, and 'Refund' or 'EInvoiceCancel' with gross <= 0 a credit note (exact, case-sensitive); every other row is skipped.
